MAFAAHEEM just failed to hold off Game Starter over a mile at Newmarket in June and the winner bolted up in a handicap next time off a mark of 90. Owen Burrows’ charge is the clear pick on that form having already been placed twice over this longer trip. The well-bred Zeelander was very green on debut here in November but hasn’t raced since. Sketch Book Venue hasn’t been off the track as long but an absence since a promising start at Redcar is a worry and Relevant may do better in handicaps after this. A similar comment applies to Amazing Grazing.
