        Verdict

        Sandyman won on soft at Windsor earlier but is 8lb higher today while The Met placed at Goodwood behind Snow Ocean, who is due to run in the previous division of this. The progressive Alpine Mistral should be thereabouts once again and is preferred to the veteran Awake My Soul while Strawman has scope stepping up in trip. CASTING VOTE failed to see out the 1m4f at Kempton last time but had won over today’s trip at Windsor before that and may well come out best on his handicap debut if handling the underfoot conditions.
