TRUMPET MAN has taken a while to find his stride but the step up to 2m has brought about clear improvement and he beat an in-form rival by more than five lengths at Nottingham a week ago so should be capable of defying a penalty in this. Both of Al Kout’s win have come over shorter and he appears to have lost his way since a third over course and distance in June while Good View failed to cope with a 6lb rise at Musselburgh and steps up in grade for this. Donnachies Girl is hard to win with while Beverley winner Zihaam has stamina to prove.
