    In depth

    Verdict

John Gosden’s record here with juveniles is exemplary and SIR EDWARD ELGAR cane ensure Il Bandito, second in his last two starts, has to wait a bit longer to open his account. The selection is a half-brother to numerous winners and was unlucky on debut at Kempton as he ran green and met trouble in-running yet was beaten less than a length at the finish. Mashaan is also open to plenty of improvement and makes more appeal than stablemate Lord Admirable and newcomer Neon City.
