A classy maiden and from a shortlist of Sweet Kiss, Alsadeek and Flowing Cape, it is the last-named who receives the nomination. Reg Hollinshead's charge has only been beaten a length or so on his two starts to date and has shaped with plenty of promise. This son of Cape Cross shouldn't be put out if the rain comes, and gets our vote. Dunn' O, Lord Sandicliffe and The Lady Granuaile should all come on for their first outings and each therefore rates a big danger, along with Prohibit who makes his turf debut. Mansii has shaped with plenty of promise but is starting to look a little hard to win with, so of more interest may be Alsadeek. John Dunlop's colt has run two good races to date and should once again go well, although the feeling is that he may not be winning until seen over a longer trip. Sweet Kiss also shapes like a stayer but taking a drop in class he cannot be dismissed lightly, however it is Flowing Cape who gets the nod.
