In depth

Verdict

Plenty with claims in an open sprint. Lajatico and Darma bid for hat-tricks with the former preferred having won over track and trip in this grade last time while Emerald Loch won on soft ground here in June. But collateral form gives the latter something to find with SOUTHERN BELLE (NAP), third to Kassia at Bath on her recent reappearance and dropping down a grade for this. Bob Cowell’s filly also has more scope than another course and distance winner in Rococoa so she gets the nod.
