      Verdict

      After a promising debut at Newmarket, GLITTER GIRL went to Thirsk and landed a maiden over this trip in good style. She has a penalty to carry but will be very difficult to beat with normal progress. Mere Brow found Beverley's 5f too sharp on her debut a couple of weeks ago but stayed on strongly and this longer trip is certain to suit. Miss Danby was a long way behind the selection at Thirsk but Richard Fahey's newcomer Golconda Prince is one to keep an eye on as he's a half-brother to the stable's star Ribchester.
