Indian Pursuit's only success came on soft ground here in October but has slipped down the weights enough to get into this poor contest. Kevin Ryan tries Strummer in blinkers and his overall form puts him in the frame if they have the desired effect. It was a poor seller that Mango Chutney won at Thirsk so the vote goes to COQUINE. David O'Meara's filly finished last in her two opening runs but produced a much better effort over the course and distance last month and she makes her handicap debut on a very lowly mark. Ada Misobel very nearly pulled off a 33/1 shock at Nottingham and though that was over a mile both of her career victories have been over this trip including here. Beverley Bullet has been showing good pace on the East Yorkshire track so today's much easier course will be in his favour.
