David Simcock had his string in splendid form last month with VISERION (NAP) completing a three-timer for the yard. Two of those victories came under George Buckell and the combination are taken to strike again. He still seems feasibly treated, was especially impressive last time and the return to 1m2f should not inconvenience. Farham returns to his last winning mark but has yet to run on the soft and it could be topweight Polar Forest who rates the main danger off his new mark of 80, his lowest figure since May last year. He ran a perfectly solid race last time and looks one to follow in ordinary handicaps in coming weeks. Lord Franklin is a consistent performer who also merits shortlist inclusion.
