Pagan Sword would be of interest if fit enough for his return under Kerrin McEvoy but lack of a recent run for Amanda Perrett¿s gelding has to be of concern and a safer bet looks to be Blue Bajan, who is preferred to Double Deputy. The last mentioned would have claims on the form shown here in September but disappointed on his final start of last season and lacks a recent run so may be best watched. Inchloch comes here fit from hurdling but has not exactly been setting the world alight over timber, while Gringo has given little cause for optimism of late. Blaise Hollow should strip fitter for his recent reappearance run and could be of interest now that the yard of Roger Charlton is back among the winners, while Prince Samos could possibly do with some help from the handicapper. The vote then goes to Blue Bajan, who ran up to his best when chasing home Miss Providence at Warwick last time and a reproduction of that effort should suffice.
