Nonrunner
David Pipe saddles four runners in the feature and it's little surprise that Tom Scudamore elects Battle Group ahead of Raslan, Mous Of Men and Acambo. The latter is talented but below-par, as is Raslan, while Mous Of Men looks high enough in the weights having disappointed last time. That's not to say Battle Group doesn't come with risks as the progressive gelding has to prove he stays this far under a 9lb higher mark than when last seen, but if he does get home the five-year-old will go well. There's No Panic will doubtless attract support but he could only manage a remote second off a much lower mark when last tried in a handicap and is opposable with THE JIGSAW MAN. Rebecca Curtis has her string in good form and her runner arrives on the back of a ready success over fences, while his last try over hurdles came off this mark and he ran well over a trip that stretches him. Tarvini has won the last four times he's completed but the 10lb rise he's incurred for the latest victory is off-putting while Calon Crwbin looks to have enough weight for his handicap debut.
