Chichen Daawe showed herself to be in good form at Ayr but that staying-on fourth confirmed she's better over further and, despite the stiff finish and likelihood of a strong gallop, the percentage call is to oppose her. We'll do just that in selecting BOURSE, a horse whose two wins have both come at this track. He ran a much better race when fourth himself at Ayr and off a 1lb lower mark, returned to his favourite track, a big run appears entirely likely. Northern Flyer's sole success came here and John Quinn is back in business but this gelding is rather frustrating and perhaps better over shorter while Blue Charm needs a first-time visor to spark a revival, so the biggest threat to our selection may be Morocchius, a dual course winner who has dropped to a fair mark. Cherri Fosfate had no chance with a thrown-in rival at Wolverhampton and could go well at a price.
