It does not take a great leap of faith to see 80-rated Flat performer MOUNT HADLEY winning this on his hurdling debut for David Pipe. The six-year-old stays 9f on the level where he enjoyed a reasonable spring under the guidance of Gerard Butler before switching to his new handler. Decent ground will suit and he won't lack for preparation, so we prefer him to the more experienced Jump Up. He won a Ffos Las bumper when last seen and acts on fast ground, so he has to be considered for what is also his own hurdling introduction. Coeur De Lionne was a shade disappointing last time but went well here prior to that and if back to that form represents a danger, though preference is for Mount Hadley.
