A winner of a bumper on debut SHE'S ON THE CASE has been progressive since switching to hurdles and we think that Grant Cann's mare can defy a penalty and take this ladies only novice hurdle at the expense of Tenawa and Misstree Dancer. The pick was an easy winner of a similar event last time on bottomless ground and whilst confirming her promise she also proved stamina for this slight step up in trip. She goes well on faster too so after such a taking performance we see no reason to desert her. Tenawa made a very encouraging debut over timber last time after missing over a year of racing. It was a much-improved effort from her bumper form and now that bit fitter she should improve. If the official ratings are correct then Misstree Dancer should win this race on these terms. Nick Mitchell's mare is yet to really impress but has shown ability and looks worth another try over this trip. Hot Tottie was solid in a few bumper starts but improved to narrowly miss out on just his second hurdles start and with this extra yardage likely to suit she should be in the shake-up. This is intriguing in the extreme but after such an easy score last time we like She's On The Case to defy a penalty.
