Another decidedly ordinary contest and Outside Investor is the pick with Le Forezien and Baileys Best the dangers. Pat Rodford makes things interesting with two runners and we pick Outside Investor of the pair. A decidedly temperamental individual, Outside Investor has distinct going and non-going days. He seemed to be on a going day last time ou t and James White will earn his fee today. Baileys Best is plating class on the hurdling circuit but does at least try. This is easier than her last foray over chase fences proved. Le Forezien has won on very soft when trained in France. He should get the trip with no problem as he's more often seen over three miles. Humbel Cone has clear claims on figures but has failed to finish on his last three starts. Resplendent Star would have been a certainty a few years ago but he is now looking a little long in the tooth. A bad race which makes little betting appeal and Outside Investor is a mere token pick.
