Verdict

COME OUT FIRING is the form pick to win again at the expense of Jack's Lad and Rashartic. The selection caught the eye when finishing a decent second at Wincanton last month and followed up by breaking his maiden tag at Towcester last time out. He had fallen twice over fences prior to that and now that his confidence has been restored he should go very close again off what looks like a potentially fair handicap mark. Jack's Lad is fast becoming a professional loser as he looked liked scoring at Uttoxeter last time out only to get caught close home by Red Jester. He is sure to run another fine race if he reproduced that form but he may have to settle for the minor honours once again. Rashartic has been plagued with injury throughout his career and as a result he is only lightly raced. What we have seen of him has been encouraging so any market moves in the betting market should be closely monitored, however, Come Out Firing looks more favourably treated and is taken to win again.
