Just Midas makes more appeal than stablemate Dinarelli and gets the vote over Monksford and Travel. Although the field is quite large, many of these can be ruled out, and Just Midas may be capable of following up his comeback win at Hereford in April, although he will not have the assistance of Tony McCoy this time. The gelding had been absent since September after taking a knock, and although only scraping home, is not too badly off compared to last year and a bit more improvement should see him take a hand. Monksford landed a race that was little better than a seller at Chepstow recently and would prefer softer ground, while Travel beat a poor bunch when opening his account at Perth recently and has a bit more to do. It really is hard to make a case for most of the others, and a tentative vote goes to Just Midas.
