Harry's Dream is the selection to land this handicap chase, with Athnowen and Polar Scout seen as the main dangers. This looks fairly competitive, but Harry's Dream, a full brother to Farmer Jack, has some scope and with the trip to suit, can return to winning ways. Philip Hobbs threw him in at the deep end when pitching him into handicap chase company at Wincanton in December, and he did not disappoint despite one or two sketchy jumps. The faster ground saw him gain a deserved success at Newbury in March, but the seven-year-old got bogged down in softer conditions at Exeter and he can be forgiven that effort. Athnowen finished in front of the selection that day but is a better horse on softer ground and over a shorter trip. Polar Scout failed to score in Ireland but has adapted well, scoring over fences at Market Rasen, and more recently over hurdles at Newton Abbot. He has scope and can afford to go up a few pounds so merits respect. Mark Equal has been a bit costly to follow and will do well to concede weight to all bar Davoski, and without being too confident, Harry's Dream is the pick.
