The ground is probably quicker than ideal for Share My Dream, while Jacaranda may be too high in the weights now for his first start in ten months and looks best watched so preference is for Country Escape. The selection is relatively unexposed over hurdles and showed improved form when opening his account when successful at Hereford last month. An 8lb rise for that success is perfectly fair and the son of Zafonic has every chance of following up provided any rain does not arrive. Roi De L'odet has not been seen over hurdles for two years and gave little sign of encouragement when making a return to the flat recently so Nicky Henderson's gelding is probably best watched. Jack Rolfe is capable of taking a hand in the finish but may need some help from the handicapper, while Thistle has been well held in recent starts and is hard to recommend. This may not be as competitive as the numbers suggest and the vote goes to Country Escape.
