In depth

Verdict

Rose Crown started favourite when fourth at Wincanton last month and only gave best inside the final furlong. She’ll know more today but the four-year-old Boomarang probably showed a similar level of form when leading until inside the final furlong at Ffos Las. ELEANOROFAQUITAINE is out of an Oscar mare and a half-sister to winning bumper and hurdler Simon Squirrel. She looks a nice prospect and can make a winning start ahead of fellow newcomer Druide Premier.
