The form of Wasted Talent's latest start over hurdles was given a solid boost by Cherokee Bay on Sunday and the Johnny Portman-trained filly is selected to follow up with a clear round here. The 7lb penalty does not make it easy for the daughter of Sesaro though and, like Lady Racquet, she will have to be on her game if she is to prevail again. However, this does look to be a weaker race than the one she took at Fontwell and it will be a minor shock if she does not give a good account of herself in this company. Fire Ranger appeals the most out of the rest after her improved display at Towcester last month. However, she is not certain to be suited by the drop in trip and she looks to hold just place claims once more. The same comments apply to Waimea Bay, who despite being 8lb better off at the weights, will do well to reverse Fontwell form with Wasted Talent if she continues to thrive on her racing tonight.
