This looks a good opportunity for Nordic Prince to supplement his recent Southwell victory and he is expected to beat Blasket sound and Novatara. That success only came in a seller when he accounted for Somemanforsomeone in fine style, but this event doesn't appear to be any stronger and a follow up looks on the cards. Blasket Sound won a better race than this at Uttoxeter back in December. He has been a shade disappointing in two runs since, but if he puts his best foot forward he will be a big danger. Novatara's best recent effort was a close up third in a conditional handicap at Huntigdon behind Hanover Square, a reproduction of that run would be enough to at least get a place in this company. Kittenkat has flattered to deceive on numerous occasions, but on his best form would go close here, however the horse in form is Nordic Prince and this one gets our vote.
