Natoumba gets the vote in this competitive contest, with Captain Becket and Montys Tan rated as dangers. The selection has top-weight to carry but comes here on the back of a good second at Southwell. He is very much at home on this and quicker ground so connections will be praying that the rain stays away and he is fancied to gain his second win over a trip that he stays, especially around here. Picabo Kid also comes here in good form and if allowed to take his chance after a good second at the weekend then he would be a player, whilst Captain Becket is yet to prove that he'll stay this trip but he has claims if he does. Cee Cee Rider would be a player if his jumping stands up, whilst Montys Tan has AP McCoy aboard and after a good second at Fontwell recently he deserves plenty of respect on ground that suits. Reidwil is no stable star, so a more likely danger may be Beau Coup who is the only course winner in the line-up but at 11 years old he isn't getting any better. Natoumba it is then who can defy top-weight.
