In depth

Verdict

Woolcombe Folly is unlikely to be much of a price but he should win; Chaninbar is taken to chase him home. The selection has bags in hand here on official ratings despite having to carry a double penalty for two recent successes. They were smooth wins and this highly progressive son of Presenting can complete the hat-trick today. The prize money here is fairly good, and Chaninbar looks the main danger. Milton Harris' gelding has had a decent season, and has been in fair form recently since reverting back from fences. However he has 29 lengths to find with the selection on their recent Stratford clash and despite a pull in the weights it looks unlikely. Scrape The Paint may well run a better race than on his debut, whilst Wise Men Say looks one destined for fences sooner rather than later. This looks straightforward for Woolcombe Folly to win again.
