Nigel Twiston-Davies has his string in good heart at present so Moulin de La Croix has to be considered having found two too good in each of his last three outings but he looks booked for a place at best again. Philip Hobbs also has his team in good heart but Hereweareagain needs to improve on recent form to trouble the judge and of more interest may be Michigan Assassin, who was narrowly beaten by Good Company at Worcester last month but is now 5lb higher. Courella has run well in two starts since joining Evan Williams from Ireland and has claims but is far from certain to stay this far, while Colin Tizzard's Intac was well held when back in a handicap at the beginning of the month and remains a maiden over fences. The vote then goes the way of Jonjo O'Neill's ON YOU GO, who has shown improved form with each start this term and he looks worth chancing dropping back in trip on ground that suits.
