Verdict

A competitive field goes to post for this handicap chase and many would have chances on their best form but the main protagonists appear to be Master Henry, Iacicia, and Dual star and we will take a chance on Iacicia. The gelding from the Venitia Williams yard was a good second behind Cill Churnain last time. That form has since been franked and with conditions in his favour he will be hard to beat. Master Henry rates the main danger he has been in good form of late and his latest third behind Night Fighter reads well in the context of this race. Dual Star is another worthy of consideration but he gave the impression he would benefit from a step up in trip when fifth last time out so for that reason he is opposed on this occasion. Of the remainder Noble Comic has dropped to a fair mark but he has become very disappointing of late so we are happy to side with Iacicia.
