    Verdict

A small field goes to post for this claimer and it looks a match between Murray River and Governor Daniel and we will take a chance on Murray River. The gelding from the Martin Pipe yard has been mixing hurdling and chasing of late and his latest fifth behind Ballycasidyn in a chase would make him hard to beat. Governor Daniel rates the main danger he won a sell in good style last time out and loves the ground but he will need to improve again to beat Murray River and that does not look likely. Lord Brex was a good horse in his prime but is a shadow of his former self while Taw Park looks outclassed.
