Gerald Ham's Fortification has run better in his last two races but the six-year-old remains a maiden after 21 starts and he may struggle to open his account giving weight away all round here with a safer option looking to be FLORADORA DO, who gets the vote ahead of Tandori. Jimmy Frost's mare has run better in her last three starts, all last month, and she has to be considered off what seems a fair mark. Celebrity Call has run well in both starts over a similar trip to this and any market support for the Evan Williams-trained gelding would be of interest. Bright Green is capable but he is not as good as he once was and has not won since February 2004 so looks best watched. Running Lord has failed to complete in his last three starts and looks easily discounted in a contest taken to go to Floradora Do. Less exposed than most of her rivals, the daughter of Alflora has shown promise over this sort of distance for Paul Nicholls and she is taken to open her account over hurdles.
