DREAMWALK is a marginal preference to Marc Aurele and Rio Gael. The former Ralph Beckett charge has taken his time to get used to his new surroundings but he seems on good terms with himself these days as two recent successes are testament to. He landed short odds at Worcester last time out and was eased down close home. Marc Aurele has been something of a disappointment though he has shown a preference for this, rather than bottomless going. Rio Gael attempts to graduate from plating company though is probably much better that that. Saltagioo has had spells with Alan King and Marco Botti. The course-and-distance winner has a welterburden to carry though Milton Harris is a handler who is unafraid of taking on opposition in this matter. Dereks should have gleaned some benefit from a confidence booster at Southwell and is worthy of another chance at this level. Kensington Oval is yet to live up to the illustriousness of his pedigree on the flat and hurdles but nothing is impossible when Tony McCoy is aboard. Dreamwalk is deemed the best option.
