Verdict
Urban Violet never threatened the winner when second over track and trip so one of the newcomers may be good enough to make a winning start. William Haggas won a division of this contest last year and runs three with expensive purchase Tarhib preferred to Diamond Drop and Cholmondeley but John Gosden won the other division and HOPEFULLY DARLING is likely to attract the most interest as she’s a full sister to the high-class Cracksman. Mobadra is also a full sister to a winner and a half-sister to several others and makes more appeal than Mused of the remainder.
