    Verdict

Group 2 winner HEADMAN has had just the one outing so far this season in the Group 1 Prince of Wales’s at Ascot. But he’s clear of the rest on today’s terms and a repeat of last year’s third in the Irish Champion Stakes would make him hard to beat. Marie's Diamond is penalised for winning a Listed race over a mile here back in June though is preferred to stablemate Freyja but the veteran Air Pilot was still capable of landing a Listed event last term, though was well beaten in this subsequently. Be More may be a decent handicapper in soft ground but has plenty to find at the weights.
