ALBA ROSE (NAP) never looked like catching the winner in the Group 2 Rockfel Stakes over 7f here but the half-sister to stablemates and high-class stayers Subjectivist and Sir Ron Priestley should have no problem with the extra furlong and looks the one to beat today. Mystery Angel is next best at the weights having gone close in Listed company at Pontefract but the remainder have plenty of improving to do on today’s terms.
