The last two winners were only having their second career starts so Bint Almater's lack of experience shouldn't put her supporters off in a race where Marie De Medici sets the standard but we're going to take a chance with TIMEPIECE. She has a mountain to climb on official figures but she has always been held in high regard which is no surprise given that she's related to Father Time and Passage Of Time. Her illustrious sibling landed this race in 2006 having returned a beaten favourite on debut before winning a maiden on her second outing and Timepiece looks capable of achieving greater success. Marie De Medici has earned the top rating courtesy of a narrow defeat in a Group 3 at Deauville and she looks sure to be in the firing line throughout. Bint Almater won her maiden well enough but the form doesn't appear to be anything out of the ordinary with the second well held since although it will be worth checking to see how the third got on at Wolverhampton on Thursday night. Richard Hannon saddles three and Sunarise may be the pick despite having plenty to find on official figures with Blue Angel whilst Thrill and Clarietta both make a good bit of appeal but, in what appears to be a decent race for the grade, we'll opt for the beautifully bred Timepiece.
