Red Skipper's stamina is still an issue over this trip and we will side with CASINO NIGHT ahead of Billberry and recent winner Zeffirelli. It appears that a mile on soft ground is ideal for the selection, judged by his two wins at Hamilton in the autumn. He hasn't had those conditions since and despite looking high enough in the weights, he should give punters a good run for their money. James Pollard was well-fancied last time but let backers down, as did Oriental Girl having previously been impressive at Bath; it's possible that the softer ground today may see her in a better light. Billberry was able to land a couple of gambles on the all-weather earlier in the year but he is yet to really prove his stamina for this trip and is opposable unless the market really speaks in his favour, whilst Zeffirelli won a weak race well last time out and cannot be overlooked with confidence high. At a price the visor may spark some improvement in top-weight King Columbo; however it is Casino Night who gets the nod. (Nick Doggett)
