The Frankel filly Voodoo Queen started favourite for both starts in the autumn but couldn't quite get there. Picual has a similar profile having been beaten at odds-on at Newcastle though she will have found 7f too sharp. Pawapuri looked in need of experience at Newbury but stayed on nicely when getting the hang of the job while riding arrangements suggest Complementary, a half-sister to eight winners, is more forward than stablemate Elegant Verse though the latter is by Galileo out of the brilliant Special Duty. LIGHT OF PEACE, a daughter of Dubawi out of a mare who has produced winners with her first two foals, has a Coronation Stakes entry and is taken to make a successful debut.
