Austrian Theory was highly-tried after making a winning start at Doncaster and made a very positive reappearance in the Fielden Stakes here where he led for a long way. York maiden winner Hoo Ya Mai was beaten a nose in a Doncaster Listed contest in September and though never getting to grips with Native Trail in the Craven Stakes after a slow start ran well enough to suggest he'll be winning again soon. Nations Pride was beaten on his debut at Yarmouth but it's been onwards and upwards subsequently, scoring twice on the Polytrack before an easy victory in moderate company at Meydan. SUBASTAR is in the Derby and made a very impressive debut here in September in a race that has worked out brilliantly.
