Verdict

The last five short-priced favourites have won this and NOBLE TRUTH (NAP) is likely to be the market leader. A winner here and in Listed company at Doncaster last season, his best run came when beaten less than a length in the Group 1 Grand Criterium at Longchamp and he didn't handle the Dirt track in the Saudi Derby in February. Ribhi was two lengths behind in that Listed event at Doncaster, with Eldrickjones five lengths further behind, but didn't get the clearest of runs. His two victories have come over 6f and that could be his trip but Honey Sweet, who was just behind, will be 4lb better off so has every chance of reversing the form. Gubbass was trying today's distance for the first time in the Greenham at Newbury and was going on at the finish.
