The hat-trick seeking Ripples Maid gets a tentative vote in a wide open fillies handicap; Woodnook, Hypocrisy and Titian Saga are others of notability. Titian Saga was highly tried after winning her maiden here last June and was far from disgraced when not beaten all that far in the Princess Margaret Stakes when she was last seen out. A mark of 82 looks a harsh assessment at this stage and, as she needs to prove herself on the ground, she may be best watched. Hypocrisy showed plenty of zest when winning a couple of races on the All Weather during the winter. Although she was well held in her latest start, she does have scope to improve, so any confidence in the betting ring would be tempting to follow. Similar comments apply to Woodnook, whose last couple of outings have indicated that is turn is not too far away. However, the nod is given to Ripples Maid, who has won her last couple of starts in good style. Gavranie Beau franked the form of her latest outing with a gutsy win at Haydock on Friday and it will come as no surprise to Jonathan Geake's charge take this latest step up the ladder of progress very much in her stride.
