Races like this are not for the feint hearted and, with that in mind, we are prepared to give Greenslades another chance, with Idle Power and Romany Nights forwarded as the main dangers from the rest. Romany Nights has hit form at the right time for this and comes here on the back of a couple of sound performances. However, he has never won off a mark this high before and, having been held off the same rating at Lingfield a fortnight ago, he looks vulnerable today. Idle Power is reunited with Frankie Dettori and, as such, is sure to be popular in the betting ring. However, the handicapper also seems to have his measure and he needs everything to drop into place for him. Therefore, the value lays with Greenslades, who has very little to prove in this company. The seven-year-old responds well for Darryll Holland and the partnership can be fancied to be very hard to peg back if they are allowed to set the tempo this afternoon.
