Boogie Shoes won this as a three-year-old last year and is just 2lb higher. Roger Varian tries him in first-time blinkers and if they have the desired effect he can get into the mix again. Hefner won twice over this trip before finding 1m2f in a stronger race at Goodwood too much for him though he was impeded before dropping back quickly. CROWN COUNSEL hasn't won since last June but has generally performed with credit and was narrowly beaten in a tough handicap here last time. He's on a fair mark nowadays and looks ready to get back on the winning trail. Chapter And Verse is better handicapped on Turf having done his recent winning on Polytrack and though Basseterre disappointed when fancied at Sandown he's very lightly raced and can do better.
