        Verdict

        Cape Diamond gets the call here, with his biggest dangers possibly proving to be Borehan, Kut and Scandal Keeper. A disappointment when sent off as favourite at Windsor last time following a promising debut, Cape Diamond is forgiven that effort and is taken to get back to winning ways and justify his Middle Park Stakes entry. Dangers include the 130,000 guineas purchase Borehan, the 48,000 guineas acquisition Kut, and the Godolphin entry Scandal Keeper. Adoniel, King Of Franks, Riotous Applause and Tell all rate as interesting newcomers, while Lavenham does not lack for experience and has shown some promise. However, the vote stays with Cape Diamond.
