In depth

Verdict

Most can be given a chance of sorts but ALQIFAAR has the most scope. Owen Burrows’ filly made a winning handicap debut at Kempton with a cosy success and should hold her own in this better company with more to come. Piece Of History will be sharper for a recent comeback at Sandown and is preferred to the penalised Make It Rain, who won at Wolverhampton last time. Kattani, Wild Hero and Breath Caught were all placed over 1m2f on their latest starts with preference for the latter dropping down in class.
