Verdict

The unbeaten LADY AURELIA landed her first Group 1 with success in the Prix Morny at Deauville. She is probably better over 5f given her blistering pace but Wesley Ward’s filly held on by a neck over the 6f in France last time and today’s faster ground will be in her favour. Queen Kindly is progressing well and beat Cherry Hinton winner Roly Poly in the Lowther at York last month. She looks a genuine threat and is also preferred to the other Ballydoyle filly and Albany Stakes winner Brave Anna. Holy Cat and Pellucid were both placed in Group 3 company on their respective latest starts but have some improving to do if they are to figure at this level.
