Verdict
There has been give in the ground for all of Rex Bell's six runs to date so we're guessing as to how he'll handle this quicker surface. He's been raised a couple of pounds since narrowly beaten at Salisbury and we'd rather stick with LORD BEN STACK, who runs his best races here and has always looked likely to appreciate this sort of trip. He had a bit in hand when back to form last time. Rydan ended a two-year losing run when successful at Salisbury but steps up a grade off a 5lb higher mark while Salmon Sushi may be a shade high in the weights on Turf. Energia Fox hasn't managed to win a race since arriving from Brazil but Jacbequick can be forgiven his Carlisle aberration, though may have stamina issues over this trip.
