The winner of last year’s Group 1 Prix Morny, PRETTY POLLYANNA has been competing at the highest level since without success. This big drop in class can see Michael Bell’s filly back to winning ways having run well in France again last time behind Advertise. Land Of Legends has landed a hat-trick of wins over 7f and should acquit himself well at this higher level, despite the shorter trip, while Raucous also has a shout at the weights having placed in the Stewards’ Cup at Goodwood last time. Sir Thomas Gresham has failed to figure in Group 3 sprints recently but Enjazaat ran well in a conditions race at Haydock and could be in the mix.
Enjazaat 9-2 (9-5) Last to break, held up, headway on outside 2f out, chased winner from over 1f out, stayed on, always just being held, 2nd of 5, 1/2l behind Danzeno (9-5) at Haydock 6f stks (2) gf in Jul.

Raucous 28-1 (9-9) Always prominent centre to near side, ridden over 1f out, led group and kept on inside final furlong, not pace to challenge leaders far side, 3rd of 27, 3 1/2l behind Khaadem (9-6) at Goodwood 6f hcp (2) gf in Aug.
Sir Thomas Gresham (IRE) 20-1 (9-6) Towards rear, ridden halfway, never a factor, 9th of 11, 8 3/4l behind Mabs Cross (9-10) at Newmarket 5f Grp 3 stks (1) gf in May.
