Verdict

Radius can give David Loder another juvenile winner, with fellow debutantes Military Cross and Halfwaytoparadise expected to give a good account. Radius, a son of Lujain, has entries in the Gimcrack, Redcar's Two-Year-Old-Trophy and next year's Vodafone Derby, so hopes are high that he can justify inclusion in those events by popping in first time. Most of the stable's youngsters do just that, and he is sure to know his job. Military Cross holds no fancy entries at present and is bred to come into his own over further than today's distance, but he too is expected to go well. Halfwaytoparadise is a half-sister to Dr Thong, and this Observatory filly should also pay to follow in time. The trio that have already seen the track do not make much appeal, and it would be no surprise to see Radius open his account at the first time of asking.
