Verdict

BASTILLE DAY may not have finished winning yet having defied a 4lb rise to land a treble with a win at Epsom last time. He’s upped the same amount again and is preferred to the other recent winners Huntlaw and Dubai's Secret who won lower grade handicaps at Ripon and Newbury respectively with the latter finishing ahead of Marbooh. Thirsk winner Palmerston failed to cope with a 5lb rise last time and Dubai Fashion drops in class for her first start since March.
