Alnoory Star steps up a furlong but was only beaten a length-and-a-half when third at Pontefract. QUEEN’S REIGN filled the same position over this trip at Haydock, keeping on nicely in the closing stages. She can put that experience to good use here, though Giudecca is one for the future as she has a cracking pedigree being a half-sister to six winners including the brilliant Integral. Faayzah may be more the finished article today, however, as her brother Red Mist made a winning debut as a juvenile.
