Only six of these have raced previously so there is not much for backers to go on with Richard Hannon's Superduper having arguably the best form on offer of those to have raced but this is likely to go to one of the newcomers with preference for Lord Snooty, who gets the vote over Ramaad. The last mentioned is a well bred son of Dr Fong out of a sister to Ardkinglass and trainer Willie Haggas is more than capable of producing one to win first time out. Ralph Beckett's Red Rumour showed some signs of ability on his Salisbury debut and would have claims if improving for that debut outing, while John Best's McConnell is also entitled to step up on his debut run. The selection though goes to Peter Chapple-Hyam's Lord Snooty, who is bred to be useful and comes from a yard that has done well with their juveniles this term.
