Silent Hawk looks the one to bear here, with Anna Pallida and, possibly, Daze nominated as his biggest dangers. The Saeed bin Suroor-trained selection made a very pleasing seasonal return when fourth to the impressive Rehearsal at Newmarket 19 days ago, and that form that has a solid ring to it. He had also displayed ability when second in his only race as a juvenile and, seeing that winners have come from that race, his credentials for this 10-furlong maiden look good. You could say the same about Anna Pallida. She hails from the in-form Peter Harris stable, cost 300,000 guineas and was unlucky not to win at Salisbury last time, going down by a short head to Trade Fair's sister Well Known. She should could go well, while the market might provide the best guide to the chance of the Sir Michael Stoute-trained Daze, a Daylami half-sister to the 12 furlong winner Fraternize. On Every Street is related to a number of winners and, while he should benefit from his debut run, more still is needed if he is to feature in this race. Race The Ace showed promise when fifth to Bayhirr on his Leicester debut over this trip and should have learned from that, although the form of the race is not really working out, while Wavertree Spirit will need to step up on his debut run, but is likely to be suited by today's trip. Just the six runners but it is an interesting race, and one in which we will side with Silent Hawk.
